American Singer/Songwriter  Elizabeth Cable has been called a world class performer and travels to Ireland, France and Canada to perform and record. Born and raised on the West Coast where she opens shows for the likes of John Hiatt, the late Warren Zevon, Patty Larkin, Paul Weller, John Martyn, Ann and Nancy Wilson, Joanne Rand, The Little Big Band,  Leftover Salmon, Reggie Garret and the Snake Oil Peddlers, and Darden Smith, Cable has earned her keep.
 
Elizabeth lives in the Pacific Northwest and performs solo and with various musicians. She teaches voice and guitar and travels to perform all over the world. In the summer of 2007 Elizabeth Cable sang with The Everyone Orchestra at The Eugene Celebration in the state Oregon. In March 0f 2007 Elizabeth was one of five women billed in the Northwest Women in the Blues concert which sold out and raised over $1,500 dollars for charities.  Cable performs at festivals like The Secret House Wine and Blues Festival, The Hog Farm Pignic put on by Wavy Gravy, The Oregon Country Fair, The Grrrlz Rock series, The Sasquatch Brew Fest and the Seattle Folk Life Festival.  She has played The Crested Butte Festival of the Arts in Colorado and The Willamette Valley Folk Festival, and The Laguna Seca Folk Fest in Monterey, California.

Cable studied classical voice, jazz guitar with Don Latarski and song writing at the University of Oregon.  Cable has written over 150 original songs.  She lived in Seattle, Washington and studied Jazz voice with Beth Winter and Jay Clayton.  It was in Seattle that Cable started opening shows for national touring acts like Paul Weller, John Hiatt, John Martyn and others.  Cable then moved to Santa Cruz, Ca after touring Utah, Montana, Nevada and California for her release 'Nine Songs'. 
Cable lived in California for four years releasing four more albums before touring to France and Ireland with her album 'Brutal Tenderness' in 1997.

In response to a recent MSNBC news clip Elizabeth wrote and recorded the single 'Today' taking it that day April 6th, 2007 to KLCC radio where it is currently getting airplay and two of her songs are featured on Neil Young's website: Living with War Today.
